The cExpress-ASL is a COM Express® COM.0 R3.1 Type 6 Compact size module featuring up to 8 core, 64-bit real-time-capable (with Intel TCC and TSN support) Intel® Atom™ x7000RE (x7211RE, x7213RE, x7433RE, x7835RE) and x7000C (x7203C, x7405C, x7809C) processors (formerly “Amston Lake”). The cExpress-ASL combined with soldered-down memory and extreme temperature option, is specifically engineered for customers who need entry-level computing with real-time prowess, a balanced cost structure, and extended product life support for ruggedized edge solutions running 24/7.

The cExpress-ASL module supports up to 16GB LPDDR5 at 4800 MT/s with in-band ECC to provide excellent responsiveness and performance. In addition, it can provide up to three independent displays, all of which can be DDI, LVDS, EDP, and/or VGA.

The module features a single onboard 2.5 GbE Ethernet port and up to eight physical PCIe Gen3 x1 ports, maximum four USB 3.2 ports (BOM option), eight USB 2.0 ports, and two SATA 6Gb/s ports.

All in all, with real-time capabilities, cExpress-ASL is your ideal solution for ruggedized edge computing such as AI applications, industrial automation robotics, industrial HMI, networking gateway and communication.
