COM-HPC-ALT

The COM-HPC Server Type Size E Module with Ampere® Altra® SoC, known as ADLINK’s COM-HPC-ALT, is the world’s first 128-core COM-HPC Server Type module. It is based on the Ampere® Altra® SoC using the Arm Neoverse N1 architecture and provides up to 128 Arm v8.2 64-bit cores running at 2.6 GHz with a 190 Watt TDP. Its high performance-per-watt design makes it suitable for processing massive data at the edge with lower investment and maintenance costs.

The module supports generic operating systems and software layers and, together with the open source EDKII project, supports CentOS, Ubuntu, and Yocto Linux. It offers large dedicated memory caches and up to 768 GB of DDR4 system memory across six memory channels, delivering predictable performance. Scalability from 32 to 128 cores enables use in diverse applications.

Three PCIe x16 Gen4 lanes support accelerated heterogeneous architectures for demanding applications. Dedicated IPMB and PCIe x1 connections allow out-of-band monitoring through remote management.
